Itinerary
- An expert tour guide will pick you up from your hotel or Nile cruise in Aswan.
- Your tour begins with a visit to the temples of Kom Ombo which stand on high grounds overlooking the Nile.
- Kom Ombo is home to an unusual double temple. The temple on the right is dedicated to the crocodile god, Sobek, while the temple on the left was in honor of falcon-headed Horus. Each temple has its own entrance, courtyard, halls, and shrine.
- Then drive on to visit the temple of Edfu, which is considered to be the best-preserved cult temple in Egypt.
- Dedicated to Horus the falcon-headed god according to Egyptian myths, it was the place where the falcon-headed god Horus revenged the murder of his father Osiris by killing Seth.
- The temple contains a nilometer, windows, and wells, including a variety of battle and religious inscriptions on the walls.
